I know quite a few people that work at Bank of America. When will we techies stand up to our masters and say "Enough is ENOUGH!" ??? Is this, finally, the shot across the bow that will wake up the techies to stand? I doubt it. I wish it was but we techies are too fractured, too much prima dona, to work together on a non-technical matter. We are pretty smart, but extremely stupid.
It used to be that when you worked for a bank, it was a life time job. There was strong loyalty on by both the employees and the employer. Now....
While most techies are good people there are a few that would damage the systems or sell your information after they have left the companies to the highest bidder. ID theft is going to get far far worse and the banks aren't going to really try to stop it unless the fat cats in congress force them to.
