I was reading some of my past posts on Perlmonks.org and noticed that the user Moron (yes, his name is Moron) was being a class-A asshole.

Just to put it into context, he(?) was asking for help regarding the difference between two things. How to go about it as he was getting false positives.  Basically his code said that there was a difference between two things and in reality, they were identical.

Many of us asked for a test case showing a false positive.

In layman's terms, if you came up to a mechanic and said "My car doesn't work sometimes.  It usually works fine."   Normally the mechanic would ask you a few questions to try to narrow down the problem.  If what you tell him isn't enough information, he might ask to take your car out for a drive to determine what is wrong with the car.  The test drive by the mechanic would be a "test case".

The "...." elipses in the messages below show where the message has be snipped.  I'm just showing the jist of the messages.  The Reputation number in each message is what other people thought of the response.  The better the response, the higher the number.  Negative numbers are poor answers.
