this blog postInnocents will get hurt. That is why we have diplomats to avoid war. The problem is, only Israel is willing to have a permanent peace. Israel has made offers after offers to the Arab world only to be told that they will be satisfied only with the destruction of Israel.
The President of Iran, Hamas, and other extreme groups want nothing other than to wipe the Jews from the planet. Israel has the right to defend itself from a second Holocaust.
If it was the United States instead of Israel... With all due respect to the survivors of the World Trade Center bombing, the attacks on the U.S. are insignificant next to the terrorist attacks committed EVERY GOD DAMNED DAY against the people of Israel.
While I do feel sorry for the innocent victims in this ongoing war (it has been going on since the refounding of Israel in 1947), Israel has the right to exist and the right to defend itself. Guess what? Iran has been funneling money through Lebanon's own government to finance the terrorist attacks.
Interesting that innocent Israelies (sp) are killed every day by the Islamic extremist terrorists and yet we hear very little outcry from the American public or the rest of the world for that matter... How may Jewish men, women and children have to die again before the public even notices let alone acknowledges that Israel has the right to defend itself?
We can all hold hands and sing.. and if that stopped the terrorist attacks on Israel, then I say lets do it. Unfortunately, we live in the real world where the ONLY thing that has shown ANY slowdown in the terrorist attacks has been immediate attacks on the sources of the terrorism.
Yoko, this is not against you or implied in any way against you. Just what I think of the whole situation.
